From 13 to 16 August 2026, Verbier shifts into another gear. The gondolas run at full capacity, the trails come alive, and thousands of cyclists from across Europe make their way to the Val de Bagnes for the 8th edition of the Verbier Bike Festival. Four days of riding, connection, and alpine gastronomy, set against one of the most spectacular backdrops in the Swiss Alps.
For this edition, Domus is offering 10% off a selection of properties available during the festival period for participants in the event. A genuine opportunity to stay in Verbier in excellent conditions, without going through third-party platforms.
A Festival Built for Every Kind of Rider
What sets the Verbier Bike Festival apart from other cycling events is its commitment to inclusivity. Open to all bike types and all ability levels, the festival draws thousands of enthusiasts around one shared ambition: discovering the mountains by bike in a festive, welcoming atmosphere.
For this 8th edition, the programme brings together 25 routes and over 400 bikes available for testing, sourced from the industry’s leading brands. Mountain bike, e-bike, gravel, road: every discipline has its place across the trail network of the Val de Bagnes.

Programme Highlights
Beyond bike testing, the festival places a strong emphasis on local gastronomy. The flagship activity, the Foodie Ride, takes participants through the region’s finest produce along the way: alpine cheeses, artisan charcuterie, Valais wines.
Those seeking more of a physical challenge can take on the daily competitions — speed trials, orienteering, and endurance events — while the evenings belong to the festival village. After-bike gatherings, a mini-bike championship, DJ sets, a silent party, and bars keep the heart of Verbier animated well into the night. An atmosphere that extends far beyond sport.
Families are equally well catered for, with activities designed specifically for children and beginners, ensuring everyone finds their place regardless of level.
Staying in Verbier During the Festival
Staying in the resort itself means stepping outside in the morning, grabbing your bike, heading straight to the festival village on foot, and coming home after the last DJ set without ever getting behind handlebars.
Our studios, apartments, and chalets are located in the village or within a few minutes’ walk of the lifts and trail starting points. No compromises on location.

Verbier in August: Far More Than a Festival
The Verbier Bike Festival falls at the heart of a particularly rich month. On 1 August, Switzerland’s National Day brings Verbier’s Kermesse to life — one of the oldest and most beloved village celebrations in the resort, marking its 50th anniversary this year (31st of July and 1st of August). Later in the month, the Grand Raid BCVs, one of the country’s most iconic mountain bike races, sets off from Verbier towards Grimentz via the finest passes in the Valais.
For families or non-cyclists joining a keen rider, Verbier offers a full parallel programme: hiking trails, via ferrata, mini-golf, a suspended trail, off-road scooters, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis, and some of the finest terraces in the Alps.
